Abstrak

In this research there are two variables, namely variable X (Price) and variable Y
(Purchase Decision). The aim of this research is to determine the effect of price on
purchasing decisions for Inggi Tanjung Enim Furniture. The formulation of the problem
is whether price influences purchasing decisions at Inggi Tanjung Enim Furniture. The
method used in this research is a quantitative method and the sample method used is
simple random sampling and the number of samples used is consumers at Mebel Inggi
Tanjung Enim. The data used are primary data and secondary data collected through
observation, interviews and questionnaires. The results in this study used simple linear
regression analysis to obtain the following estimate: Y= 4.701+0.765 x with correlation
coefficient analysis of r = 0.819. This value explains that the relationship between the two
research variables is in the very strong relationship category. The coefficient of
determination value obtained is R2 = 0.670. This value means that the variable (X) price
on the variable (Y) purchasing decision has an influence of 67% while the remaining
33% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
