Abstrak

This study was conducted to analyze the influence between work discipline variables and
career paths on job satisfaction at PUDAM Tirta Lawu Karanganyar. The sampling technique
used is purposive sampling where sampling is taken criteria from PUDAM Tirta Lawu
Karanganyar employees which totals 374 employees and 40 employees are randomly taken to
be used as respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire that is distributed
through google forms. The research model uses quantitative descriptive with data analysis
techniques using classical assumption tests, multiple linear analysis, hypothesis tests and
determination coefficients (R2). Data processing uses SPSS software version 22. It was
obtained that discipline had a significant effect on employee job satisfaction and career path
had a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Overall, the variables of discipline and
career path have a simultaneous effect on employee job satisfaction.
