Abstrak

This study aims to find out how the implementation of Good Corporate Governance
(GCG) in MSMEs in Sragen District is related to the principles of GCG. In general, the
application of the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is carried out for
large-scale companies, through this study the author wants to know its application to
MSMEs. In the research methodology the author uses descriptive qualitative methods. The
object of this research is data processing at the Department of Cooperatives, Small and
Medium Enterprises, Sragen Regency. The data sources used are primary data and
secondary data resulting from questionnaires and interviews with MSME business owners
in Sragen District with a total target population of 15 respondents.The results showed that
most of the MSMEs in Sragen District had applied the principles of Good Corporate
Governance (GCG) with an average of 78.33%. The highest application of the principles
of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is the principle of transparency and responsibility.
The lowest application of the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is the
principle of fairness or equality. Based on the results of the analysis, from 15 respondents
of MSMEs in Sragen District, 8 of them know the meaning of GCG principles, while 7 of
them do not know the principles of GCG
