Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of visionary leadership style and work
discipline on employee performance at the Karanganyar Regency National and
Political Unity Agency. This study uses quantitative research methods. The number
of samples used was 37 respondents with the sampling technique used was saturated
sampling (census). Data collection was obtained through a questionnaire. The
analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis,
multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test, and determination test (R2). The
results of this study are partially visionary leadership style and work discipline have
a
positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition,
simultaneously visionary leadership style and work discipline have a positive and
significant effect on employee performance. In this study, the coefficient of
determination (R2) of 0.802 was obtained, which means that the relationship
between the visionary leadership style variable and work discipline to the employee
performance variable is 80.2%, while the remaining 19.8% is influenced by other
variables not examined in this study
