PENGARUH PENGHARGAAN FINANSIAL, PELATIHAN PROFESIONAL , LINGKUNGAN KERJA, NILAI-NILAI SOSIAL, DAN PENGAKUAN PROFESIONAL TERHADAP PEMILIHAN KARIR SEBAGAI AKUNTAN PUBLIK (Studi Pada Mahasiswa Akuntansi Universitas Surakarta)

Abstrak

This inquiry examines the extent to which financial rewards, professional training, work environment, social values, and professional recognition shape Accounting students’ decisions at Surakarta University to pursue a career as a public accountant. A quantitative design was employed: primary data were elicited via a Google Form questionnaire from 60 respondents selected through simple random sampling, and the dataset was processed using SPSS. The analysis indicates that financial rewards, work environment, and professional recognition exhibit a positive, statistically significant association with choosing a public accountant career, whereas professional training and social values do not demonstrate a significant influence on that choice.
